The following 3.4 deprecated features will be removed in the RapidDeploy 3.5 release, either because they aren't used or supported anymore, or because they are making way for other improvements.
| Calling external build tools from within the RapidDeploy project panel.||All build plugins now hosted on GitHub (Open Sourced) and available as binaries for the various
build engins such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Go. These plugins are installed in the build tool and use a generic Web Services API to call RapidDeploy. Support for these build tools continues in RapidDeploy 3.4 until the end of life of this product version.
|Security Model.||The previous security model is completely rewritten with a new, more fine grained model. Support for the previous model continues in RapidDeploy 3.4 until the end of life of this product version.|
|Frame, Process, Process_Port, Frame_Manager, Orchestration, RD_Plugin_Registry objects and code removed.||Redundant tables, methods, screens removed. Support for these features continues in RapidDeploy 3.4 until the end of life of this product version.|
|Support for IBM Rational Automation Framework (RAF) removed.
||IBM Rational Automation Framework was withdrawn from marketing in December 2013. As of RapidDeploy v3.5, support for RAF integration is removed. RAF support continues in RapidDeploy 3.4 until the end of life of this product version.|
|Instance object type is removed.||Removal of the Instance object and associated screens, tables. Requirement for instance name in the project environment file name pattern is removed, although still supported for backwards compatibilty. The 'Requires Approval' and 'validation' attributes are moved to the Environment object and screens. Please see upgrade documentation for further instructions. Instance object support continues in RapidDeploy 3.4 until the end of life of this product version.|
